In the darkness of a time when the gifted children of earth were burned at the stake, shot with silver bullets, and stabbed with wooden splints, there was a candle of hope, flickering and guiding the hunted to safety and refuge. A gifted of her own, Alice Ravencorre, created a boarding school for the adolescence of the supernatural world. She invited many gifted beings, be they vampire, witch, wizard, elemental, or anything of the like, they were invited to the sanctuary of Ravencorre. For many months the gifteds worked together to build this majestic landscape, each adding their own touch such as a waterfall from the water elements and a luscious and everlasting forest from the earth elementals. When finished it was a masterpiece. For years the powers of the students of Ravencorre remained unnoticed and finally all thoughts of the supernatural had become mere myths. Ravencorre is found snuggled warmly deep in the earth elements forest, where resides the beautiful waterfall. A few miles off of the island is a city with a shopping mall and other stores and recreational buildings such as skating rinks and candy stores. Now the unnatural beings are working at jobs like the rest of us, taking the bus like the rest of us, and existing in society like the rest of us, only boarding at Ravencorre when in need of training or a home.
