\Height/
6’ 2”
\Weight/
134 lbs
\Hair/
Kori’s hair is medium length and chocolate brown. She usually styles it pretty much however she feels like at the moment.
\Eyes/
Like all vampires, Kori’s eyes turned black when she died. However, using the smallest mind manipulation, Kori makes her eyes emerald green, another favorite among vampires.
\Appearance/
Kori is very tall and lean, much like a forest cat. When she walks, she seems to glide over the ground, and every movement seems tightly controlled. She looks good in nice clothing, but would rather wear a loose blouse and jeans, so she isn’t restricted and can move freely. She has tan, flawless skin, scarless because of being a vampire. She has gotten hurt, but has healed from it.
Though it is common, Kori has given herself emerald green eyes. However, her eyes from birth were just a shade less bright, and she had always loved the color of her eyes. When she’s angry or hungry, the illusion will fade back to black, and she looks truly formidable. She has an angular face and full lips, which can look either sweet and seductive, or terrifying, depending on her mood.
Though she is a strong vampire, Kori can’t actually use her mind to change shape. Instead, she was born a shapeshifter, and thus can turn into a beautiful jaguar. It is a large, graceful cat with emerald eyes that mach her in human form. She loves being a jaguar, and will sometimes prowl around in her jaguar form for hours for no particular reason.

\Strengths/
Intelligent—Like many old vampires, Kori knows a lot. She’s been around a long time and, when talking to humans, will sometimes throw in a bit of her knowledge, which baffles them because its things that aren’t in history books. If they didn’t know any better, they’d have to say it was like she was there…
Powerful—Both physically and with her mind, Kori is a powerful vampire. She’s not one of the strongest, and in fact on her own she would only be an average-strength vampire. However, being a shapeshifter gave her a little boost, and gives her a different sort of power. The two combined make a lethal combination
Not evil—Though nobody would say she’s “good,” Kori is not evil. She’ll feed off of humans because she must, and because she couldn’t bear to be looked down upon. However, she doesn’t think of humans just as food. She actually thinks of them almost as toys, or pretty animals. They fascinate her, even though they are below her.
Fiercely loyal—Though Kori doesn’t befriend easily, once she does, she’s stuck like glue. Even when she was mad at her brother, for example, she never betrayed him or tried to have him killed. She would fight for the few she cares about, and die for fewer still.
\Weaknesses/
Problems with emotions—To Kori, love is an idea, not a fact. Same with hate, or happiness, or sadness. She doesn’t always know how she is, or why she’s doing something.
Immature—Though she’s lived a long time, Kori has been babied by Jaguar, as much as you can baby somebody who is immortal and kills humans. She’s spoiled, and will sometimes throw tantrums when she doesn’t get her way. These tantrums are usually quiet fumings, but sometimes…
Quick temper—Sometimes, Kori just loses her temper. She’ll scream and shape change and, if there are humans around, might kill somebody. This doesn’t happen often, but it has happened.
Unstable—Kori’s mood is ever shifting. Sometimes she’ll want to be out with a large group of people, and other times she feels like killing anybody who disturbs her.
\Best trait/
Doesn’t kill for fun. Whatever other problems Kori has, she isn’t cruel.
\Worst trait/
Still acts immature and childish, even though she’s 1000 years old

\Secrets/

\Personality/
Unlike Jaguar, who didn’t seem to have any personality disorder from being a shapeshifter, Kori had several emotional problems when she was human that weren’t fixed when she was changed. She doesn’t relate well to other’s emotions, and sometimes doesn’t understand why other people do things. She’s not very good at reading people, so when interacting with others she relies almost solely on her ability to read minds.
Kori is, in fact, a lot like a cat. Sometimes she feels playful and mischievous, and would like to go out and party. Other times she feels like a loner, and would rather stalk through the night on her own. She doesn’t like going out during the day, because she always feels like everybody is staring at her. Sometimes, she feels she would rather be a jaguar than a human, so she loves to change at night and just run in the park.
Kori likes to meet new humans, either at New Mayhem as a vampire or in the normal world as another human. However, whenever they start to pry into her social life, she leaves. She likes to learn more about humans than have them learn about her. However, that doesn’t stop her from killing. She loves power, and would never lose that power by feeding on animals. She has a strange tradition of carrying her bodies out into the forest and burying them. That is why she mostly kills at parks and woods. She doesn’t like cities very much.
Right now, Kori is only fiercely loyal to two beings: her pet jaguar Kunaa, and her brother, Jaguar. They are the only ones who understand her strange moods and emotion problems, and accept her for it. She always seems to anger others, but she never gives up trying to be with others.
.::.It's a Family Thing.::.
\Family/
Jaguar—1000 years old—brother—ruler of Midnight
\Pet/
A jaguar named Kunaa. Her sister is Shayla, Jaguar’s pet, and the family of jaguar’s has been in Kori’s family for generations
\History/
Kori’s was born long ago, when Spaniards first began colonizing the Americas. She was born of a (not unusual) combination of a native of South America and a Spaniard, both of whom were shapeshifters. She was actually the second child, the first being Jaguar who was born 3 years ahead of her.
Kori was born beautiful, and her mother adored her. She treated her like a princess, despite her emotional problems and the fact that no man would marry her because she was mestizo. However, like other Spaniards, her father had little emotional attachment to his wife and children. When Jaguar was 20 and Kori 16, he sold their mother into slavery in Midnight. At a special request, Jaguar was sold to Jeshickah, another vampire. She changed Jaguar into a vampire, and Kori was left all alone. She had finally caught on when her father tried to sell her, but she ran away.
She was in hiding for a few months before Jaguar found her. On her 17th birthday, Jaguar found her and changed her under Jeshickah’s orders. Technically, Kori now belonged to Jeshickah because she was changed by one of her fledglings. However, Kori ran away before she could be sold and used as a slave trainer. She missed Jaguar fiercely, but once she found out the horrible, manipulative trainer he had become, she couldn’t bring herself to stay with him. She occasionally visited Midnight, but always left quickly. However, when Jaguar made a new Midnight and stopped being a trainer, she came back to live with him.

Kori decided to hunt as a jaguar. She had Kunaa with her, and the two stalked through the forest, their eyes glowing in the dark. Though many would say that the forest was no place to hunt for humans, Kori knew that there were always humans sneaking out, usually teenagers. They were also usually intoxicated, making them easy prey.
Suddenly, Kunaa paused, lifting her nose in the air. Kori followed suit, and she quickly recognized the scent of alcohol. Where there was alcohol, there were humans, and blood. The pair split up, Kunaa running so she could approach from the opposite side of Kori. Soon, the group of humans was in sight; about 8 of them, all boys about 18 years old. Kori’s eyes fell upon the tallest one, a handsome boy lounging elegantly against the car, beer bottle in hand. The jaguar grinned, exposing long, sharp teeth. Since they were boys, Kori figured a different tactic could be used. She changed back into her human form and glided into area. She grinned playfully; she was in a good mood. She was hunting.
After only a few minutes, she was settled comfortably next to her chosen prey. He leaned closer to her, his eyes glittering hungrily. Kori’s were too, though with a different kind of hunger. She sent a powerful mind signal to Kunaa, and the jaguar yowled and attacked.
The boys scattered, shouting and causing a general ruckus. Kori’s prey tried to escape, but she had an arm wrapped around his waist, and restrained him. “What—“ he protested, before Kori sent a mental message to him: Sleep. He slumped against her, and Kori sunk her fangs into his neck. Kunaa strolled by, looking rather pleased. Kori was fed, and the other boys would go home with stories about a wild animal in the forest.
