\Hair/
Seeta has very versatile hair which is rich red-brown in color. Normally, it has a nice, soft wave to it, but lately she has been wearing it up so she looks a little different—the wave is natural, whereas the tight curls or perfectly straight hair she was made to wear for a while were not natural. The color she has changed to a dark brown, darkening all of her features, but it still looks natural and just changes her look enough.
\Eyes/
Seeta's olive eyes have a small ring of garnet around them, giving them a slightly eerie look. It is similar to the ring around her grandmother's lovely eyes (thought her grandmother's eyes are more brown). This garnet ring is visible, but not always noticed by people, for which she is thankful. Her brother Admael does not have the garnet, though he is also a Shapeshifter.
\Appearance/
Over the past four years, Seeta’s appearance had diminished because of her slavery. When she was sold, she was reaching the fullness of being a young woman—she had always been a thin girl, but as she grew taller and lacked in nourishment from being a slave, Seeta’s frame stayed sinewy. She seems a bit too thin for her body, but is getting better with time.
Because of her ability to entrance people through dance, Seeta’s body has stayed strong, even if she is too thin; it is not the best combination, but she still looks beautiful. A haunted expression may sometimes be seen on the Shapeshifter’s face because of the cruelties she has been through. Her eyes may have a distant look when she is confused about reality or time, and she is still trying to stop flinching when people move too quickly around her.
Kept fairly well hidden are small markings on her thighs, stomach, back, and shoulders. They are scars, little symbols of her slavery and also her value on the trade. The makings show her as a dancer, as well-trained, and a good many other things. She hates the pearly-white scars on her light olive-toned skin.
Seeta’s style fluctuates to the polar opposites of the world of fashion. She wears high-fashion very well, and loves dresses as much as she loves jeans, or even sweatpants. Yes, it is a very crazy sense of style, but she always ends up looking beautiful. Lately, Seeta has been wearing things which make her fade into the background a bit, while still looking cute—a lot of jeans, Converse, and zip-up hoodies have being keeping her too-thin frame hidden, while also just making her look less like a slave and more like an uncaring Shapeshifter.
Even when Seeta is in her Black Jaguar form, it is visible that the girl has been malnourished; her small frame and petite body look as if she has been wasting away. With her body already having been small, she looks rather bad. Thankfully, Kat has been able to get more meals (when she remembers to eat) and has been putting on a little bit of weight, which is good because it is making her look more just like a normal girl.

\Strengths/
Seeta caught the attention of the infamous slaver trained Gabriel because of her unique look and her ability to keep the attention of anyone who watches her dance, much like one who charms a snake. The entrancing look of her dance and feel in the air turns Seeta’s aura into an intoxicating experience. This is her main power which she attests too. Seeta has always had an immense love for dance, and when she discovered that her power went beyond just feeling beautiful and graceful as she danced, she felt even better about it. Unfortunately, it was also a large attraction among the slave trade, so she loves and hates it.
Tying in with her power to entrance people with the graceful movements of her body, Seeta Akatriel discovered some time ago that she is able to slightly influence people, like another charm of sorts. This is something she doesn’t like to use, but can if she truly feels she must. It is a slight power, but one that is more helpful than one would think.
Along with this, Seeta has found that her ability to blend in has increased now that she has escaped the chains of her slave life. She is still terrified of being found, but the Shapeshifter has become very good at slipping out when she needs to and avoiding those she knows she must avoid at all costs. Though this does not seem like an actual ability, Seeta actually blends in so well that, at a glance, it does not always seem like she is there, even if one can still read her thoughts; she thinks this come from her black jaguar counterpart and their ability to blend into the darkness.
Tying all of this together is Seeta’s stubbornness and tough nature, which has been quite defeated by the years enslaved by some of the cruelest vampires. She has a sweet disposition hidden deep within her, but she is so guarded that she seems distant toward all people; she is terrified that someone will see one of the scars traced around her neckline, or on her arms or back, and sent her back for their own personal gain. Seeta’s stubborn behaviors are just a tough façade to hide from the world the scared young woman underneath.
\Weaknesses/
As mentioned, Seeta’s now guarded nature is a weakness of hers, because it can often come off as fear rather than just a good-natured girl paranoid of being caught again.
A second weakness of Seeta’s is her inability to always distinguish time and reality from what she is thinking or dreaming. This worked to her advantage when she was enslaved, but not well enough to keep her from the terrors of the world she was trapped in. Along with this is the odd places Seeta often finds herself in when her mind is wandering.
Just as it is a strength, the young woman’s ability to dance may be a weakness because of how attracting it is to the vampires who drive the slave-trade in the world of night.
Another odd weakness of Seeta’s would be the fact that she gets lost in books that she is reading. This correlates with her inability to fully grasp the concepts of time and reality, for she is known to get caught up in the things she reads. She adores reading, but lately has been avoiding all forms of books because she’s too afraid she’ll get caught up in another world, and then get caught up in the world she escaped from.
\Best trait/
Physical is her beautiful bone structure which makes her look gorgeous and pixie-like.
Non-physical is her ability to dance.
\Worst trait/
Physical is her too-thin frame, which raises questions with people at times—she does her best to avoid such negative attention.
Non-physical is the fear driven by the slave-trade—it makes her jumpy and a bit paranoid.

\Personality/
Talk about someone having problems! Seeta Akatriel Israel has spent the last four years of her life enslaved by some of the cruelest of the vampires. It caused within her a torn spirit, for she still always had moments of sheer joy, but they were sandwiched between moments of harsh cruelties, terrifying experiences, and even times when she became prey to the blood drinking habits of her masters. All of these experiences have made her wish she were stronger, but she is not sure how to go about becoming so.
Other than dance, Seeta has very little in her life to look forward to. She wants someone to trust, but she never seems to find anyone worth it. The young woman would love someone to care for her, to give her a chance to get over everything that has happened to her—a protector. Instead, she feels that, at every turn, she is met with someone only made to make things worse for her. Inside grows an anger and bitterness that makes her want to lash out, but the darkness stays hidden, kept quiet by her outlet of dance and song. If it were not for these things, Seeta would be quite a mess. As it is, she has still been left twisted by the things she has been through.
Spending a lot of time wandering around, Seeta loses track of time and often finds herself actually lost. Not that this bothers her—she has grown used to wandering. This often makes others believe she is crazy, but it is truly just from the four years of being so trapped that now she is free, she doesn’t always know what to do with herself. To Seeta, it is better to be wandering around than trapped in one place. The times when she cannot remember things are the worst to her—no matter how much she wishes she could forget, she does not want to totally lose her mind. Seeta used to see herself as beautiful, but lately, she just wishes to blend in and not be seen, or be seen by someone who will actually care about her.
Mixed in with all of Seeta Kat's fear and defeated attitude is a fire burning within her. Her stubborn nature shows through at times, and all of the anger she has kept inside for the past four years is now hidden just under the surface, making her feel as if she could lash out at any moment.
This desire makes things difficult, since Seeta Akatriel spends a lot of time pushing people away so that they won’t figure out she was a slave, but then no one ever has a chance to help her. Seeta has nightmares whether she is awake or asleep, so she just tries to push them away, though it is sometimes obvious when she is seeing things she does not wish to see. Overall, it often seems like Kat is crazy, but she isn’t; really, all she wants is to have the years she lost back. Whether it means taking revenge or becoming an immortal to gain back the years, she is not sure how far she would go to get back at those whom she so despises.

\History/
At birth, it was known by Seeta’s parents what she would be. Unlike her brother’s pure olive eyes, Seeta Akatriel’s eyes were marked by a ring of garnet around her pupil, very much like her grandmother’s eyes. Though it was not known what form she would take, Amira Maor was not very happy about what her daughter was. She had heard stories of how creatures like Seeta often had mental problems—though there was nothing wrong with Eeva Maor, Amira was still a bit fearful of Shapeshifters, not having any in her family’s bloodline.
Unbeknownst to Amira, her older son, Gideon Admael was also a Shapeshifter. Ethan Maor kept this information from his wife, though, because he knew how much she already worried about Seeta, and did not want to cause her more concern. Gideon Admael first Shifted when he was fourteen years of age, into the powerful form of a lion. It was fitting to him, for his golden eyes, powerful body, and strength of heart made him a lion down to his core, even before he had ever Shifted. Gideon’s father was there when the Shift happened, and explained that he had to keep the event from his mother. Since Ethan Maor knew his beloved daughter would also be a Shapeshifter, he allowed Gideon to tell Seeta. At the young age of eleven, Seeta Akatriel made her own first Shift, and she was very proud of her black jaguar form.
Over the next couple years, Seeta learned more about the form she could change into, just as Gideon had done. She stayed in school, but always loved most of all to go to her dance lessons. Learning many different styles, Seeta was amazingly gifted for her young age. Unfortunately, it was at one of her dance competitions that she was first noticed by a vampire called Gabriel, who soon (and a bit too easily, even in his opinion) convinced Amira Maor to sell her only daughter to him. At age fifteen, Seeta was taken away from her home and has not seen it in four long years. She was taken to a place not far from New Mayhem, and quickly became the intrigue of some of the crueler people in the dark slave trader. Because of her ability to dance and charm people through her dance and pure singing voice, Seeta kept the attention of the vampires for quite some time. When she was finally traded to a vampire who was simply enthralled, but not quite as cruel as others, Seeta finally made her escape.
Even though he wasn’t as cruel, the vampire still was not happy to lose a slave so desired by the rest in the trade. Through her years, Seeta gained small markings, quite like tattoos, but actually small, carved in scars which represented a few different things. She hates them, but knows she cannot get rid of them—the magic in the knives used to put them in place make it so they cannot go away. Although her whole life is now changed, Seeta Akatriel is doing all she can to blend into a world she is still learning about. It is difficult for her because she is a very hard time trusting vampires; she is more trusting towards witches, but Seeta is still always concerned that someone will sell her back into slavery.

\Level of Schooling/
Seeta’s schooling technically ended at age fifteen. She learned many things through the other slaves, and learned things no one should have at her age. With so little education, Seeta feels her only option is to teach dance for a living, because she knows how to do that—of course, she can read and write, but is scared to go back to school because of how behind she would be. She was always a smart girl, but is scared she wouldn’t do well in school if she went back.
\Schooling Abilities/
Did well in all subjects, and especially loved math and grammar.

What a day, what a day... what day? Seeta wandered into a coffee shop. It looked like morning. Without looking in her wallet, the young woman tallied up the tips she had made last night at her temporary waitressing job and was happy to find that she could, in fact, buy herself a caffeinated beverage. It was a small comfort. When did I leave this morning? I feel like I've been out for hours, that was something Seeta certainly could not tally up in her head, for she had lost track of time once again. With a small shrug, Seeta Kat went up to the front and ordered a Venti non-fat caramel macchiato.
The barista girl raised an eyebrow at Kat as she paid for her drink-- it didn't exactly look like there was enough room inside Kitty for the coffee, but she knew it would probably be her only food for the day. She still had to set money aside for her rent; even though she was living with a kindly Shapeshifter in her late-twenties/early thirties, Seeta had insisted on paying at least some sort of rent. The woman had obliged, understanding Seeta's want to pay something, especially since the paranoid girl was in and out of the house so often.
She waited patiently for her drink and received it quickly, not really smiling at anyone before leaving, forgetting her thirty-two cents in change. Not that it mattered. Glancing down, Seeta saw that she was wearing black Converse, dark-wash jeans, a well-fitted gray t-shirt, and a black zip-up hoodie over it. It was cute but still helped the Shapeshifter girl to fit in. She didn't want to sit outside, but with the sun out, Seeta felt a little bit better about doing so. So she sat outside and pulled out a book and began reading. Before she knew it, her coffee was gone, she was finished with the book, and she'd forgotten if she had to work or not.
