It did not come as a surprise when Silver appeared, and Kendra had to hold everything back to keep from mauling him. His ability to grate at her nerves was a gift of his, but the woman was determined to be the better of the two "siblings" tonight, and prove to Siete that she was above the problems Silver tried to create. Of course, Kendra created many problems of her own, but not quite so petty as Silver-- at least, in her mind.
Meeting eyes with Siete once more, Kendra only glanced at Silver to say, "Ah yes, thank you for joining us. You know, we were just speaking of you." With that, Kendra turned her attention back to Siete. "As I was saying, one of our old haunts would be a peaceful place, don't you think?" Kendra scooted a little bit closer to Siete, a slight sexy smirk on her lips and a twinkle in her black eyes. Yes, she was flirting, but she was making sure not to lay it on thick.
The arrival of Silver had nearly made Kendra want to leave, since it would have been easier just to avoid him fully. But any attention from Siete drove such rational thoughts out of Kendra's head; thankfully, no one (not even Siete, it seemed) knew that Kendra still fancied herself someone Siete could love. Most of the time, she even denied this to herself, for he never seemed to notice her. It was nights like this that reminded her of their history together. The destruction they had caused, the lives they had forever marred, and the blood they feasted on together... images flashed through her mind of the many years.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete sat all the way up on his branch, one leg elegantly dangling beneath the branch while the other was clasped in his pale hands. He recognized the aura of one of fledglings, even if the man hadn’t spoken. It was Silver, the cause of much of the trouble in Ramsa. Siete was only slightly worried by Silver’s apparent hunger and greed for power. Though he probably thought himself unique and invincible, he hadn’t been around nearly as long as Siete had. There had been many other vampire rulers before him, whose line spread beyond them to encompass the world. Right now, in fact, there was another in Asia, nearly as powerful as Silver himself, whose line ruled the Eurasian continent. If things went on as they had before (and if Siete knew one thing, it was that history repeats itself) another vampire would overthrow Silver and his line, setting up their own regime. It could even be Kendra herself. None of his musings affect his cool manner, though. He simply waited as Kendra exchanged ‘pleasantries’ with her brother; both were pretending the other wasn’t there. Siete held back a frown; they could bicker if they wanted to on their own. With him, their immortal father, there, they would behave like the god-like creatures they were. “Silver, it seems you’ve misplaced your greeting for your sister. Rectify that immediately,” he said, his voice cool and showing only the slightest hint of mocking. Before Kendra could feel superior, he added, “Kendra love, is that any way to treat your brother?” Siete sighed when Silver mentioned their ‘gathering.’ “It was wholly unplanned, Silver,” he replied. He glanced back up at Kendra, who suggested leaving to feed. “Not now, love,” he said, gracefully swinging down onto a lower branch in the tree. He stood up on the branch, and held up a hand to help Kendra down, if she so wished. “We have company.” He turned to Silver, tilting his head slightly. “What mischief have you been causing tonight, Silver? It’s been a while since we’ve met.”

“Silver, it seems you’ve misplaced your greeting for your sister. Rectify that immediately,” he said, his voice cool and showing only the slightest hint of mocking, the aura of superiority stinging Silver’s senses as he took the mental beating indignantly.
“Kendra love, is that any way to treat your brother?”
And therein lied the power he held that irritated Silver so, it was always an equal field no favorites for Siete all of it was simply a pleasure to him, the fact that the vampire had so much power and yet didn’t capitalize on it he was a god amongst the vampire clans yet he could still be so much more. Dreams fluttered in Silvers mind, enslave the humans take back their rightful place as gods of everything.
“Forgive me sister I hadn’t seen you there,” He gave the coy reply not bothering to bow he knew best to get under her skin and his mock politeness made him smirk slightly.
“It was wholly unplanned, Silver,” He turned to Silver, tilting his head slightly. “What mischief have you been causing tonight, Silver? It’s been a while since we’ve met.”
His “father” had that edge to it that made him suspect other potential matters but that wasn’t Siete saying it, the thought of the man showing any form of hostility was out of the question rather it was Silver’s imagination lest there be something in his mind signifying his mistrust of his son.
Silver attempted to reach out into Siete’s mind to question for the answer to it, their bond would leave him vulnerable but it was key information that was necessary for him to proceed with. “Mischief?” He started slowly, “I prefer to call it delicate planning…” He paced aside sizing up his sister to see what vile mood she was in now, his features remained calm and taunting without any signs of angst or disruption.

Hating to have her pride bothered so much by the small scolding from Siete, Kendra barely kept a snarl from her face as she said, "Ah yes, I must have forgot. Hello, Silver." His greeting was less than warm, and hers was returned in a similar fashion. It was difficult to be considered siblings to someone she hated so much, but Kendra did her best to keep the worst of her feelings at bay.
A melodious laugh escaped from the vampire's lips as Silver called his schemes "delicate planning," for he was normally anything but delicate. "Your plans are never delicate," she stated, trying to keep her bite held back by keeping her words at that. Even after thousands of years, Kendra still felt like a child fighting with her brother when Silver was around. She had studied many siblings arguing, and there was always love rooted in there-- there was no way she could love someone like Silver. It seemed an impossible thing to even think about, for her love was centered around Siete, and always had been.
She began to wonder, though, if perhaps Silver's mocking was a protection... but then she laughed to herself at the sheer absurdity of the thought. There could never be anything between them after so much hatred. There could perhaps be lust, but Kendra wanted not to think of that, for it disturbed her. Her mind was going a thousand miles an hour when she heard Siete deny the request for a bit of snacking. It was difficult to stay after that, for her body now wanted to feed after all the talk of blood, and Kendra knew she would very soon be destroying a life out of bitterness of the entire situation.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete glanced between his children, one eyebrow delicately raised. He wondered how they interacted when he wasn’t there to mediate them. They already had claws unsheathed and were snarling at each other like feral cats, and that was with their father there to supervise them. Luckily, both still respected him enough to grit out a greeting to the other, and he supposed he would have to live with that. Besides, if his fledglings weren’t so fiery, they wouldn’t be his.
Siete wondered what Silver was doing that required ‘delicate planning.’ He would have to ask him later. Right now, he needed to keep his fledglings from destroying each other. He slipped all the way out of the tree, landing gracefully beside Silver. “If all are hungry, what say we hunt?” he inquired, knowing the only way to really make vampires stop fighting each other was to get them feeding off a human. Siete himself was hungry, and could sense many humans in park, including at least one teenage party. Teenagers and young adults were such easy prey, especially for the three beautiful vampires. It had been a while since he had been hunting with others, and it could be interesting.
The immortal inclined his head towards Silver, sensing the need to actually talk about his plans. They would have to do so later, though. He began to walk, beckoning for his children to follow. His manner seemed easy, but he and his children knew that he was giving them little choice. If they refused to hunt, it would be direct defiance of his power.

"Your plans are never delicate," his beloved sister stated, Silver could sense the edge to her tongue so faint no one but he could probably catch it, she was spiting him and if it were not for his “father” keeping close eye on the pair he’d have no problem in showing her the place she belonged.
“If all are hungry, what say we hunt?” Silver’s ears perked up so slightly at the thought of a hunt, it hadn’t been too long since his last feast, he preferred his own “fine dining” on mortals with pure blood he didn’t quite pertain to the few so drunkard that they had trouble assorting with their own. Though what choice did he have, his senses extended outward surveying the inhabitants, a few smashed teens a few couples strolling the park, homeless vagabonds, hardly the sort worth a higher being such as himself or even his kind.
“Yes my lord, would I have any other than you to incline to feast with.” Silver expressed through silver tongue as he floated across the park leaping a single bound into a tree overlooking the small band of teenagers. The few that weren’t stoned were measly to say the least their figures not to the same beauty as his own image it would take so little to encourage them to give their blood, but what hunt would that be.

Not really wanting to feed with someone she didn't trust, Kendra sighed and disappeared from the tree, reappearing practically in the same second on the ground. When she hunted, she liked a challenge, and was disappointed as to the poor selection which was around. "Slim pickings, Siete; you are sure you wish to stay here, where there is no challenge?" Kendra asked, still wanting to entice the two of them elsewhere.
Yes, sometimes it was just pleasant to feed around others-- especially others with such power-- but Kendra also enjoyed reveling in the challenge of the true hunt. To feel the wind blow through her hair and her bare feet pounding against the earth... it would be like reliving some of the best times of her life, when the world was not so polluted with weak humans and technology. It was always nice to remember better times.
Looking at Silver, Kendra actually felt sure that he would feel the same about the lack of hunt. But, perhaps, he actually liked not having to fight for his food. Not that anyone actually was a fight, but it was more fun to make a game out of it than to just walk up to a few high teenagers and feast easily. Things would be too easy if they stayed. Besides, then Kendra would never be able to see what power Silver actually had.
