Sitting, strong and silent, on a tree in the park was Kendra. She had jumped up into the tree hours ago, hidden from the view of the humans walking the paths below her. The small wooded area in the park was nice, and Kendra had sat there for some time before changing into a creature the color of the darkening woods.
So instead of the Vampiress sitting there in her natural state, she lay on the branch in the form of a jaguar, twitching her tail back and forth in the same manner which the natural creature would as it stalked prey. This was partially true for the ancient creature, for she was technically stalking prey, but did not have the full intention to consume a meal on that particular night.
No, she was just watching, studying the frail humans as they passed. Some passed quickly through the area; some seemed to look up, sensing a presence even as Kendra quelled their minds into easy submission; even others snuck into the woods to smoke pot with friends. It was interesting to watch all of them, definitely a new favorite spot of hers for while she was in town. Getting a human here would be simple, and if she thirsted after a first, she could always move onto the next who came through along the trail.
But this night, Kendra was just watching and thinking. The cool air around her felt nice, but she saw that the humans were cold and slightly bundled up. Not her; she needed no such things now, but still tried to at least look normal when she was around humans. Not that a jaguar in New York was normal (outside of the zoo), but they didn't see her because she didn't want them to.
The old Vampire watched and contemplated eternity for the umpteenth time, grateful to Siete for changing her, even though he had changed her rather on a whim. But she still held a love for him which she seemed unable to let go of. It was nice that the two were not often in the same vicinity, for she knew that her personality and feelings for him could cause a disturbance. But perhaps, she would be able to hold herself together. She could never be sure, even after five thousand years.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete was usually somewhere else. To most of the vampires, he was a legend; someone they knew existed, but had never met or seen. Considering he was in charge of keeping the vampires, his children, from getting out of control, there was somewhere else he always needed to be. All over the earth, vampires secretly reigned, and Siete had to be there to control them. It was Mozambique, Africa, where the dark vampires gathered every month under the sensual full moon, to entrance the mortals into giving up their sweet blood. It was Paris in France, where even the blood of mortals tasted like fine wine, and the vampires lived in a monarchy over Europe similar to the one Napoleon had reigned over. Or it was Australia, where some of the original Aborigines still survived, mesmerizing the dangerous creatures there, and being worshipped as gods by the natives. Yes, there was always somewhere else for him to be, somewhere to take control. New Mayhem, however, was rising in power, like almost everything in United States. Therefore, Siete was spending more and more time in Ramsa, New York. Honestly, New Mayhem was his least favorite city in the world. All of North America was his ‘least favorite.’ Everything was full of steel and pollution, everything beautiful hidden under a layer of smoke. However, the growing power of the city worried Siete, and he had to stay, keeping the Silver line from completely taking over. He had to continue lecture Ather why she couldn’t take over. He had to keep Silver himself out of the way. And he spent more time than he should keeping Ather’s blasted fledglings, Aubrey and Risika, from destroying each other and everything around them. At night, he should be working. But he was weary, weary of maintaining the tight control over the vampires of the United States. So, as disguised as he could possibly be for an immortal, he went for a walk. He could have transported himself to his destination in a thought, or taken the shape of a hawk and flown, but he didn’t have a destination. He was simply walking, trying the age-old remedy of getting rid of energy. He exhaled sharply, an expression of frustration that many millennia had not gotten rid of. That one breath frosted in front of his face, disappearing in a second. It was not followed by another. Finally, he reached the park. He enjoyed the park in Ramsa; the one place where there could be secrets out of New Mayhem. He stretched out his mind, searching for any signs of life. He sensed several sluggish minds, miles away, probably several teens high on drugs. He also sensed a veiled mind, much closer than he expected. He recognized the mind, like he recognized the mind of every one of his children. Kendra. Her line was one of his favorites; they were passionate, artistic, beautiful…everything a vampire should be. He stopped at the base of the tree she was in. Looking up, his sharp eyes picked out the large cat resting in the tree. “Kendra,” he said simply. Nothing else needed to be said; she would recognize him immediately.

Kendra felt the mind before he spoke to her, and the large creature began to purr. Changing her form back to normal, Kendra stayed where she was in the tree, a smile replacing the purr in her throat. "Siete, my love," she said, her voice velvety smooth. It had been some time before the two had spoken in person, for she knew he was extremely busy. What he had to do was many times the troubles Kendra went through to keep her fledglings under control. Hers were not always as destructive as other lines, and she knew Siete favored her line.
This was not to say that they were a peaceful line; for Vampires, they were a passionate and fiery line, but they were also beautiful and artistic. For Kendra, she saw the artistic ways were balanced by their fiery passions, and sometimes spitfire attitudes. Then again, others would beg to differ. This did not bother Kendra, though, which is why she felt she always had a reason to smile at Siete; perhaps he did not feel the same way, but she cared not.
"It has been so long since we last crossed paths," she said, tilting her head to the side and wondering what he was doing in Ramsa. It had been at least... Kendra thought for a moment... at least a century since they had last met, perhaps more. Time was of no consequence after so many endless years.
It was interesting to her that she had just been thinking of him, and here he was before her. He could very well read her every thought, but there was no way he knew she was thinking of him. Ah well. Finally deciding to hop down from the tree, Kendra's movements were so lithe and graceful that it was as if a ballerina had just made a small, simple leap. Even though the fall was great, she landed with even more grace than the comparative ballerina. Standing in front of him, it was difficult to quell seductive desires as she awaited his reply, since all of her thoughts and actions happened within a span of seconds.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete remained calm as Kendra changed back to her own form. Like all of his fledglings, she was a fatal beauty. She had had a vampire’s allure, even when she was alive; Siete had an eye for such things. Unlike other’s he had (regretfully) changed, Kendra loved being a vampire. She called down to him, and a smile twitched at the corner of his mouth. It had been far too long since the two had talked. “Yes, it has been a while,” he repeated, letting his mind wander back to when they had last seen each other. A century and a half ago, to his knowledge. It was Europe…Italy, if he could remember properly. He loved Italy; it was beautiful there. “Venice, was it not?” His voice sounded faintly amused, as if the whole conversation struck him funny. Kendra slithered down from the tree, lithe as the cat she had just been. Siete caught her hand, gracefully and faster than could be seen. He lifted the back of the hand to his lips, his green eyes never leaving hers. “You are still as beautiful as the day I changed you,” he murmured, his voice smooth and urbane. “What have you been up to while my children wreck havoc upon the mortals?” His voice was wry, though still amused. The only reason he cared was because if the mortals rose up against the vampires, they would be overwhelmed by sheer numbers.

The kiss on her hand felt nice, perfect, and cool as she had expected. It was nice that Siete's mannerisms had not changed over the years. Venice, he asked, and Kendra thought for a split second before grinning widely. "Ah, Venice," she sighed. "The years there were quite nice, I shall have to go back soon. Perhaps you could join me." But Kendra's thoughts quickly brushed away from Italy and onto what Siete had stated afterward.
Tossing her hair lightly, Kendra's beautiful smile flashed her fangs. "Thank you, my dear. I do try to keep up with the times of the humans, but I find myself remembering days which were much better." Back to Greece went Kendra's mind, and she could not help but remember when Siete had changed her, and how wonderful it was that he had changed her during those wonderful days now spoken of only in lore or in history classes.
With a grin, Kendra slid closer to Siete and whispered, "Those children of yours cause so much trouble, but I cause trouble of my own." With a wink, Kendra kissed Siete's cheek. Truly, Kendra had not caused too much trouble as of late, but she had spent many days doing so. All of her fledglings were known for their quicksilver passion (or anger), but their passion for beauty and art made some better accept her line. Kendra adored those of her line, but was known to be rather possessive of her children, of her things, of those she called blood on.
It was a terrible thing at times, but it seemed to her that Siete was still accepting of her. Wonderful for her, since she adored being around the being more powerful than she. Others would view Siete's presence as a threat, but Kendra loved feeling the power which emanated from Siete's aura, and just loved to stare at his handsome face.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe A smile flickered on Siete's face; his cool manner wouldn't allow more than that. "If I'm not busy elsewhere," he replied simply. For one as ancient as him, time was almost meaningless; more so than for the other vampires. Going back to Italy "soon" could mean three years, or three centuries. He never knew where he would be in the future. Wherever his children needed him, was generally how it was. However, he enjoyed spending time with his direct fledglings. Although Silver, one of his earliest fledglings was becoming a problem. He was planning something sinister here, something that would allow his line to take complete control. What it was, though, Siete didn't know. However close he was to his fledglings, they were equally adept at keeping him out of their private thoughts. Days that were much better....wasn't almost century better than this one? Humans seemed to thrive on ignorance and greed now, traits that could get one killed in more ancient times. Now everything was about money, not progress. Problems that couldn't be taken care of were ignored, left to fester until they became unbearable and had to be moved ever further away. The problem was, there was only so much 'away' in the world. Another smile flickered around his face as Kendra's face came closer, whispering and brushing her lips against his cheek. He caught her hand as she spun away and twirled her around, graceful as a devoted dancer. "True, all of my children have a habit of causing trouble," he murmured, spinning her again until he was behind her, Kendra cradled behind his arms. "Though I know some seek it out rather than let it settle around them," he whispered, before spinning her away again.

"Well, whenever you're not busy. You know, sometimes decades-- even centuries-- go by without me even noticing," Kendra admitted, revealing a bit about herself that she would tell no one but her blood-father, and the man she loved. He would not know, though, that she truly loved her; that was a secret that she had been able to keep from him. For all he knew, it was just senseless flirting stemming from her passionate ways.
"Perhaps Italy will be even more beautiful a few decades from now. We shall see." As she finished her thoughts about going to Italy with him (it could barely be called traveling when she could go there merely by thinking. "I know some seek it out rather than let it settle around them," Siete whispered as he completed the simple but wonderful dance moves. A sly grin flashed across Kendra's features, for she knew he was talking of her. Kendra's black eyes seemed to glimmer with mischief.
"My dear Siete, who could you be speaking of?" the Vampiress said, her voice smokey and smooth as she kept the smirk on her face. "Me? Cause trouble? I have never in my many, many years been one to even cause a slight stir." She laughed, a perfect sound that stopped a nearby couple in their tracks as they were momentarily mesmerized by the entrancing sound. Slinking a little bit closer to Kendra, she felt their auras clash slightly before they seemed to meld together-- something only a direct descendant of Siete could have done. It made her feel vulnerable, but she knew she was strong, and she trusted Siete not to harm her.
"It has been very long since you have been to Ramsa," the woman stated. "As for me. It seems you are either stalking me, or you see a cause for concern here. Who is it you feel the need to stop in their tracks? If it is a killing you want, please let it be me. You know, I quite adore a good killing." It was true; Kendra had been known to be a bit too fiery while murdering another, but she did a very good job at it, so she had done so in the past and would happily do it again, for Siete.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete tilted his head to the side, studying Kendra intently. There was something hidden under her casual words…he probed slightly at her mind with his, but couldn’t read anything. Instead he sighed, running a hand through his hair on the side of his head. “Not all of my children are as mindful as you,” he murmured. “They are impatient, trying to wring everything out of every second. Some of them are no better than humans,” he added coldly. The older vampires, ones at least a century old, still held most of the values that set vampires above humans. But lately, his children, the younger vampires, acted more and more like humans. Sometimes, it was hard to justify why vampires were above the humans, as they were supposed to be. Perhaps…”Or perhaps the humans will have destroyed it,” he said coolly, his emerald eyes cold. He hated the mortal humans, who left a trail of misery and destruction behind them during their fleeting lives, leaving the wreckage for those who came after. Or those who survived long before and long after they were here. None of his children, not even Kendra, could understand. He shrugged, dislodging the morose thoughts as if they were a physical thing. “But I suppose we will see,” he finished simply. Another grin, this one more substantial than the others, alighted on Siete’s face. “My dear, everywhere you go causes trouble,” he murmured, brushing a lock of hair out of Kendra’s face. He indicated the passing couple with a nod of his head, smirking slightly. Kendra and all of her line were fiery, and beings that passionate and wild couldn’t help but cause trouble, even if it wasn’t on purpose. He took the smallest step backwards as Kendra’s aura melded with his, surprising him. Though he was tempted, he didn’t pry into her mind. She clearly trusted him, and he would never betray the trust of his children. “Yes, it’s been…about a millennia, I think, since I’ve been here,” he murmured dryly. He rested his chin on top of her head, gazing absently at the street across the park. He stayed out of Ramsa as much as possible, but he needed to come. “Don’t flatter yourself, love,” he laughed. “I’ve got more to do than stalk you. And no, nobody needs to be killed. I’ve forbidden you from killing your blood brothers and sisters.” His direct fledglings were too strong, too ambitious. And he wasn’t changing people as much anymore; it was hard to find people who deserved the privilege of immortality. “It’s Silver. Him and his line are becoming…difficult.”

The mention of Silver had Kendra scowling. Of course, who else would it be but Silver? The troublemaker was doing all he could to wreak havoc. The scowl on her face was easy enough to read, but Kendra added, "There is no art to what Silver does. I despise him." Her voice was accompanied with a heated flash of her coal-black eyes. She truly looked as fierce as all of the things which were whispered about her.
The couple faded into the distance and far out of Kendra's mind as she thought more about the echoing voice of Siete calling her "love." It resounded in her mind and, though she knew it was just an endearing term to one of his first children, Kendra could not help but smile at it. The Vampiress was strong, but not when it came to the man who had changed her. Oh no, Siete was to Kendra just as Achilles's heel had been. Terrible truth, yes, but it was the one passion she had never gotten bored with.
Unfortunately, Siete had not been aware of this fact for quite some time. Instead of allowing him to read into this, Kendra put up high, strong blocks in her mind, even as she stayed close to him. She knew he could break them down, but she also knew that he wouldn't; Siete had morals and ways as old as he was. For that, she had always respected him; this, as well as his great power, had always created in Kendra a desire to be near the man.
"Clean up that mess, but do not allow him to be the one to keep you here," Kendra said to Siete, still hating Silver for being the reason their blood-father was in Ramsa. "He is not worth your time, even if it does bring you to a place of some interest. You truly must see the idiocy of the new Vampires... their weakness and love for humans makes me hate them all." Her words were, of course, passionate in their despise for those of her kind. Even her own line had a few of those, but they were far enough down that she barely considered them her own.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete knew of Kendra’s hatred for Silver. The two of them had clashed several times, which annoyed Siete to no end. Most of his fledglings had spread over the world, but when they got together, most managed not to kill each other. As usual, Kendra’s reaction amused him. To him, the reaction was…childish. Not in an annoying or crude way…just a surprisingly normal case of sibling rivalry. Both Silver and Kendra’s personalities clashed, enough that they had a mutual hatred of each other. “It doesn’t matter; he despises you too,” he replied, an almost mocking tone in his voice. “He thinks you are no more than an amateur artist who flies into tantrums at the smallest slight.” Siete wasn’t trying to spread dissent, but it was a bit amusing to see the two snap at each other. Kendra was still close to him, her mind temptingly open. But Siete’s control was iron strong, in all terms. He could go without blood for months, then be part of a mortal blood drive. He could be connected to every single one of his fledglings’ minds, and he wouldn’t read one thought. Siete tilted his head as Kendra continued her rant about Silver, then the other vampires. True, the newer ones were worse, almost as bad as humans. But look at what they were choosing from! All of them, even Kendra and Silver, had been human once. Another reason Siete was in Ramsa was to try to make his newest vampires more…vampiric. Less of the sniveling humans they had been. And to keep them from changing more people, creating a useless army of weak vampires. Yes, there was more to keep him here in Ramsa then just Silver. “Silver himself is not the only problem,” he replied smoothly. “His line are the ruling line here, as I’m sure you’re aware. He might be in charge, but they certainly aren’t going to just obey him faithfully. They cause enough trouble on their own.” He frowned slightly, thinking hard. Really, Silver and Kendra, and their lines, were not so different. That was the problem. Two storms together make an even bigger storm. “It’s more difficult than it seems. His line are doing well to hide from me,” he finished with a smirk. They must have sensed his presence, and had been avoiding him. “And I wouldn’t say the newest vampires love the humans,” he added as an afterthought. “They are not trained properly, and think of themselves as kings, not gods.”

A slight pout came over Kendra's face as Siete practically mocked her with words straight from Silver's mouth. She held her tongue, though, and took a step back, severing the direct line between the two Vampires. Kendra was feeling more and more isolated, and began to think that she should have stayed at her hidden home. Somewhere far away from the over-dramatic ways of the Vampires and other creatures of around Ramsa. In fact, Kendra was just about to leave when Siete spoke again, staying Kendra's mind. "I care not for his title as ruler; he is not doing a good job.," Kendra stated haughtily, officially annoyed with her blood-father's words. He seemed to be supporting the fact that Silver's line reined in the area.
Kendra knew better than to fight with Silver (or Siete, for that matter) about who was ruling. In fact, Kendra herself had her own rulings in other areas, but had decided a small jaunt in Ramsa would be nice. It was quickly turning into anything but the little trip she had expected; what with Siete's arrival and everyone's fear of him, all of the colorful goings-on of New Mayhem were rather dulled. But she would survive. For countless years, she had, so she was not about to stop because Siete had made a trip boring. In fact, there were many ways (already forming in Kendra's head) of how to make the trip extremely interesting, but with her father around, it was best to keep such thoughts at bay.
Instead, the Vampiress focused her attention back on the man in front of her. "Do not focus all your attention on the blood children who don't deserve your time," Kendra purred. "There are others, much more valuable and worthwhile who would love to see more of you." With that, Kendra shifted her form back into a panther and jumped lightly (too lightly, really) back into the tree, clawing back up to her perch towards the top and settled down, her tail already twitching once more as large cat's tails do when they stalk prey.
In a way, she was acting very rude by dismissing Siete the way she did, but she was too busy trying to figure out why in the world he had gone from sweet to bothersome, and if it had anything to do with Silver, she would surely murder him. Doing her best to ignore the powerful, striking creature below her, Kendra focused her attention to a solitary being wandering through the woods this late at night. Probably sneaking off to smoke pot with friends... or perhaps he is meeting a lover, Kendra thought with glee, hoping it was the latter of the two. She waited, biding her time as she tried to stop replaying her little visit with Siete in her mind.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Siete grinned. He had annoyed Kendra; he was no longer treating her like a princess. No matter how ancient she was, he still thought of her as a child. His child. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely, princess,” he said softly, though his amusement still clear in his tone. “Silver’s line has been in power a long time. Soon they will fall, and another would take its place.” However, for them, soon could be a couple more centuries. He was amused by her haughty tone; she really was like an annoyed princess. Though he wasn’t purposely annoying her; there wasn’t anything he could do about Silver’s line being in charge, other than try to keep them under control. Though he was in charge of them all, Siete was not a dictator to the vampires. He knew that his children were born of hatred and violence, but born into freedom. Not even he could take that away. Kendra stepped away, severing contact with Siete. He didn’t pursue her; as he had said, he didn’t restrict his childrens’ freedom. She seemed thoughtful, and Siete assumed she had plans for being in the small city of Ramsa. Few of the really strong vampires were here except for a reason, though that reason could simply be entertainment and catching up in New Mayhem. He figured that Kendra was thinking of ways to create problems, but he did nothing to probe her mind. If anything, he would encourage her to do something, though he wouldn’t say so out loud. The new vampires could do with some of the ‘mischief’ one of his direct fledglings could create. Siete leaned back against the tree as Kendra purred, then shifted into a panther form. With his arms loosely crossed and his eyes half closed, the darkness swallowed him up, and he seemed to become part of the night. Except for his flashing green eyes, and his pale skin. “I know love, but a king must pay attention to all his subjects, even the peasants,” he commented to the panther in the tree. “Though the nobles are for more entertaining,” he added, smirking up at the tree. Siete was unruffled as Kendra rudely dismissed him by disappearing up the tree. Instead, he brought himself to the top of the tree with his mind, elegantly settling himself on one of the larger branches next to Kendra. He was lying down quite comfortably, his head propped up on his hand, which was in turn propped up by his elbow on the tree branch. “That was quite rude, love,” he commented. Kendra had put him in a good mood; where before he would have reprimanded her, now he was mildly sarcastic. “I haven’t finished with you yet.” Siete’s eyes and mind followed the being who had caught Kendra’s attention. “Are you hungry?” he asked nonchalantly. “Or perhaps you have ulterior motives for following a human?” he added, the teasing tone back in his voice. Kendra would probably kill anybody who so much as hinted that she loved a human, but Siete was different. He was immortal, where Kendra wasn’t.

That was quite rude, love Siete said as he appeared in the tree. The jaguar-femme growled slightly, in an annoying way, and twitched her tail a bit faster. Kendra sighed, which sounded more like a purr from her panther maw. "Of course you are not finished with me, Siete. You are only not finished because it was I who dismissed you..." Closing her black eyes for a moment, Kendra's form changed back to her human form, still laying her her stomach. Perfectly balanced, Kendra's knees were bent and her lovely feet ended in pointed toes.
Gazing back at the human, Kendra scowled, glaring at Siete. "You know how I despise those who love humans," she said, her voice husky and nearly like a growl that the jaguar would have given. Black eyes were hard as cold, and as fiery too. The vampiress strayed her eyes back to her creator and said softly, "And are you hungry?" With a thought, Kendra moved forward a few inches closer to Siete, a big grin on her face.
The breeze changed directions and Kendra caught another scent; that of a young vampire, a weak vampire. The smell sent a shot of annoyed heat through her body, since the moment with Siete could be ruined by the appearance of the young creature. Reaching out easily, she could tell that the vampire was an idiotic fledgling of Silver's, one she had seen a few days before. He mostly fed off of animal blood, and only fed off of humans who wished to be fed from. She despised the weakling.
Diving into his head, Kendra whispered, "Leave now, young one. Find somewhere else to feed." She felt him shudder even as she left his head, and focused her attention back to Siete. "He should be leaving," she informed him with a coy grin. "You mentioned feeding. Shall we go to one of our old haunts and feed together?" She offered, thinking of the time she and Siete went deep into the heart of Africa and hunted the vicious natives. Those were people who knew how to put up an amazing fight; they were so much better than the weak Americans.

These visions of death seem to own meIn the quiet of the classroomsAll across the stacked United States of WoeWe live with woe Though he wasn’t trying to, Siete caught a hint of what Kendra was thinking. He gave another easy grin, now thoroughly in a good mood. It was slightly true; he couldn’t leave with her thinking she had one upped him. However, Kendra was good to talk to, and the night was young. Siete didn’t want to find somebody else to entertain him right now, though he might go out to feed again later. “Or maybe I’m enjoying your company,” he remarked lazily, shifting so he was lying on his back, his hand under his head. Siete bit back another grin at Kendra’s growl. Humans were a sore spot for most vampires, despite the fact that they were all once human. Siete remembered, though even in life he hadn’t held his own species in much regard. The only times vampires had interactions with humans involved feeding, changing, or lust. He glanced up when Kendra appeared a few inches closer, a playful grin on her face. “Hmm, not him, love,” he murmured. “Marijuana makes me lethargic.” Siete was surprisingly picky with his prey; he disliked anybody drunk, high, or smoking. The acrid taste of drugs in blood didn’t settle well with him. Siete lifted his head up, catching a whiff of the newest vampire. The park was popular for vampires at night; a ready supply of intoxicated humans or easily caught animals. Siete didn’t say a word as Kendra dismissed the vampire; he probably would have been even more harsh. With his younger fledglings, he had to keep up appearances. Kendra was one of the strongest of his fledglings; she knew and respected him enough for him not to be aloof. Siete sat up further when Kendra mentioned hunting again. His pallor revealed that he hadn’t fed in a while; he had been a bit busy lately. “Where did you have in mind?” he asked in an offhand tone. New Mayhem wouldn’t be good; hunting there was forbidden. They could go to another country, if they wished. Italy was good, or back to Egypt.

The dark eve of night twinkling in his pitch black eyes, Silver found time to take it upon himself to go hunting. He didn’t feel far too hungry though something that would tide him over for a time couldn’t hurt. The ancient embarked from his makeshift fortress alone taking with him the heavy trench coat that concealed his features. It was quite late out though many humans of his reigning territory seemed to find time to graze about their pastures after dark, not the smartest thing to do, but what was to be expected they were nothing but animals to him.
He floated into the park, a graceful stream of steps that could only be matched by a God’s grace. For that’s what he considered himself something of a God, never to die, never rot sleep he saw all in his reign and that was his bidding. There were several scents on the air, he used his powerful senses to track his prey this night. Drugs on the air, but that wasn’t what surprised him, the scents of three vampires two of them being ancients. The youngest of the brood appeared to be one of his bloodline a youthful fledgling, weak and unreliable. The eldest was an old “Friend” of all the people to enter his dominion it had to be the prison guard.
Silver laughed in the darkness, he knew his upbeat side would upset Kendra and he aimed to fire her nerves. In all senses they were like siblings always fighting for the attention of their father always fighting each other for dominion but of course Silver already knew his place, greatness that was simply it.
Silver ignored the youthful vampire making a mental note to kill the whelp for his pathetic showing, and rather continued his graceful approach to the makeshift “Gathering” “Ahh, I see I was left uninvited to this soiree…” Silver hummed with a glimmering smile ignoring Kendra’s presence and only acknowledging Siete, “My lord,” Silver continued giving a form of half bow for politeness sake, and he kept a strong hold to keep his true thoughts hidden beneath a veil of secrecy.
