It was mid morning in Ramsa, New York, and Shapeshifter Akatriel felt extremely rejuvenated after getting a good night's sleep for the first time in a few months. Since the moment she had woken up, Kitty had heard music playing in her head and her desire to dance had increased since she'd woken up at dawn. Even as she opened one of the open back doors to the Concert Hall, Kat wasn't sure why it had to be there.
Perhaps it had been so long since she had been happy to dance on a stage, or if she just wanted to be away from her small room, but Kat was happy to find that she didn't have to pick the lock to get in. It was dark in the Concert Hall, and wasn't yet open. Kitty was wearing a comfortable black sports bra and green running shorts. Since she assumed she would be on her own, Kitty felt okay with what she was wearing-- no one would be there to see her scars.
Walking onto the stage, Kat sat down in the dim light and removed the black Converse she had worn, pulling her ballet slippers out of the duffel bag she had brought along. After tying them, the black jaguar-girl stood and began to stretch, taking her time, because she loved the feeling of her muscles stretching out.
As she did so, Kat thought about the scar that was by her shoulder. It was the largest of her scars, and the most painful one. If she thought about it too much, it would pain her; it was her mark of being a dancer with a gift, and she didn't like having to bare that to the world. Here, though, she could feel from the worry of anyone knowing what it meant seeing the mark. So Kitty let those thoughts leave her mind as she stood and began to dance.
The dance was a mixture of ballet and whatever else came to Kat's mind. She felt she did not have to worry about her strange "gift" taking effect on anyone, since there was no one around. But as she got lost in the dance, Akatriel allowed her senses to fall and focused her heart and soul on the dance, not even caring if anyone saw. An audience would have been nice, but would have been dangerous, because of the scars on her body. But she didn't care about any of that as she just danced in the dark.

Silver was a man of power, patience, and control there was nothing he could love more than a fine show. However to this day and era there was little these shows that proved to be provocative of any kind. The vampire elder’s eyes glazed over in a dark complexion as he rounded the streets of his empire alone unguarded those wise enough kept their distance even his irritable sister knew that was best for her. He came upon the dance hall and heard the fashionable music that caught his interest.
Senses aware, pulse quickening it could be food but more so spelled trouble and somewhere deep within Silver, he enjoyed trouble at the very least being the cause of it. Grinning maliciously he entered the throne and stood off to the side peering in and leaning up against a wall watching the performance.
A familiar face, almost fading into his dreams so very long ago and old servant of his house and old slave. He grinned at the extent to cause more havoc, o so giddy with delight this elder was indeed he waited patiently covering his emotions his senses keeping things in check being a shadow amongst the padded walls. As it came to a close Silver sounded a booming clap that echoed through the halls.
“Excellent, brilliant work my dear Akatriel,” He boomed from the dark corners remaining invisible as he dashed silently through the hall, “How long it has been since last we’ve met.”
If she could see Silver would be a cold feature without amusement, he didn’t like the fact that he’d lost such a tantalizing plaything, though this era’s new choice of style aroused him he missed the old touch he kept his servants in check with. A brooding hunger swept over him as he sized her features up far too revealing.

A strain of shocked curse words left Kat's lips as she stopped her dance and looked in the direction her voice came from. Her slightly heightened senses were enough to pick up the location of the voice, even through the acoustics of the open theater. He knew her name and she knew his voice, though she somehow kept the shiver from running down her spine. He inquired of passed time, and Kat almost considered not responding, but knew better.
"Nearly four years," she finally stated as she moved as smoothly as she could towards the bag she'd left placed at the edge of the stage. From it, Kat pulled the jacket she'd worn in back on and zipped it up; she still remembered the way Silver's eyes practically burned through her. The song finished without the dance finishing, but all thoughts of the interesting dance were out of Kitty's head.
An amazing calm was spread over her, though, as if the simple act of getting out her pent-up energy soothed her spirits. It was nice, for otherwise, she knew Silver would just enjoy how she reacted, which he was already doing. Kat knew he could smell the surprise and fear even through her spicy scent and the sweat that layered over it all. But at least she was almost able to not show it. "What do you want with me, Silver?" Kitty asked. She had never expected to see him in the concert hall, especially if there were no concerts going on at the time-- like now.
If he wanted a slave back, Kat knew she would be almost powerless against Silver. If he wanted to torture her further by changing her into a creature she so despised, then she was sure she would take whatever opportunity she had to kill him. If he simply wanted to scare her out of her wits and leave her more paranoid than she already was... well, she was out of luck, because he would most likely succeed.

"Nearly four years,"
Silver’s eyes traced over her smoothly from the darkness he remembered how much she hated such things and he adored the feeling of her tortured soul her malice and fear that writhed through her relaxed body. It was an easy enough reaction to invoke within anyone nowadays somewhat destroying the purpose still Silver felt privileged when taunting someone of the past centuries especially an old “friend.”
“Is that all its been?” Silver bellowed in a velvet tongue ascending quickly to the upper floors to gain an air of supremacy over the scene. He did so enjoy the ability to gain the higher ground throughout all the wars and sensual takeovers in past centuries it was his drug his skill. “My does time go so…slow” He grinned with a new form of satisfaction nearly tasting the fear emanating from her.
"What do you want with me, Silver?" she said from the level below as his dark eyes followed with extreme lust.
In a moment’s notice he’d floated down beside her in a rapid streak on the stage a few feet behind her watching Kitty’s movement’s with attentive desire. He had many slaves, no none better than another but he’d remembered having this one’s skills to please old nobles and enacting jealousy in many a man’s heart it was a sensation he’d desired and lost over time. “I want…you my dear,” He said in a quit enough tone to give off fearful implications his eyes now glowing blackness in the dark.

Silver's swift movements did not catch Kat off guard, for she'd spent the last four or five years surrounded by the creatures, many of whom loved to show off the ability like Silver had just done. What did catch her off guard was the look in his eyes, and Kat took a step back, though she knew it would make no difference. She felt anger, hate, and fear all mixing together and boiling inside her to create a rage she had not felt since right before she had escaped her last residence.
"Ha! If you wanted me, you shouldn't have sold me," Kat began, her laugh haughty and tone biting. Not that she'd been unhappy that Silver had sold her, but she had been given to a master even more cruel than her, and for that, Kitty hated him. "Besides, you've had me before, and you still tossed me aside. It will be the same again. You only want to see me dance and you know it."
The Shapeshifter's words were quite rude for speaking to Silver, but it was easier for her to be rude and expect to get hit, rather than to just allow him to walk all over her. No matter what way she looked at it, she still hated him, and she figured she might as well try to make him so annoyed with her that he'd leave her be. She hoped it would work, for there was no love or care in Silver's eyes, and Kitty believed there never would be anything but the cold, dark lust that resided there whenever his eyes traced her form.
Akatriel's cat-like olive eyes were taking in all the light that she could, and she now kept her attention on Silver, watching his every move. She knew the look in his eyes and despised him all the more for it. Many men had come and gone through Silver's grand home, and Kitty quickly figured out why she was wanted so much as a slave-- they looked at her in a way similar to the way Silver was looking at her now, but his was colder than all of theirs combined. He could not have anything but envy that, perhaps, Kat was now someone else's

"Besides, you've had me before, and you still tossed me aside. It will be the same again. You only want to see me dance and you know it."
Silver laughed shortly and then smiled with a cunning look on his face. In a short blip of a second he was at her side an arm coddled gently around her waist as he bowed her into a short ark of a dance. He smiled with the cold emptiness of a beast but with the charming features of a man.
“Don’t degrade yourself like that love,” He commanded in a calm tone, “you are o so much more” With a shift of his body he would move to lift her lightly into the position as it was before and twirl her tenderly showing that he could be just as graceful, though dancing of course wasn’t his specialty, never not in that life that was created rather Silver was a warrior that made war a ballet.
He brought Kitty in close to him after the twirl using a free hand to clasp at her waist as he could breathe in her hatred, it nearly soothed him feeling its fiery tendrils edge past his lids and into his skull as they burned deeply never dissipating. “ah I see your skills never cease to amaze, but that doesn’t mean that I will not have you once again..” He grinned with contempt.

For all the times Seeta had had to dance for Silver, she had never danced with him. Even though she was practically forced into this one, Kat never let herself get off balance, thus staying in the small dance with him. Even as he danced, though, he was cold-- how could this be? Kat wondered. Dance was something which, to her, brought warmth to all those around her.
Silver's move had brought something up again in Kitty, something which he may not have expected. The light and warmth which she thought of when she danced overpowered her feelings of fear; though her hatred was still there, it was covered up almost fully by her elated emotions caused even by a few simple steps with the vampire. A grin spread across Kitty's features as an idea formed in her mind. From what she remembered of Silver, he was a man who tired of things he could have... and from that, Kat's idea came.
Leaning up just the slightest bit, Kat's lips were just centimeters from Silver's. She knew her plan could backfire, but it wouldn't be the first time he'd taken advantage of her, so she was trying to think of anything that would make him not want to do so. "My skills have grown more than you think," she whispered, her breath and scent as they always were-- spicy and exotic.
Nothing inside Kitty revealed her fear anymore, thanks to the vampire who was trying to scare the wits out of her. "It is your skills which surprise me. I did not know you could dance." Distraction was good, and any feelings of attraction from Kitty, she was sure would throw Silver off... she just hoped the plan worked.

Silver paused a moment in the dance his acute senses were picking up an exact opposite of what he’d been aiming for. Attraction, heat? The whole thing surprised him but didn’t let it show, Kitty’s lips played the tease nearly brushing against his own though he wouldn’t play into it. As elder of the vampires he could have whatever he desired and would not be played into such a game if she wanted him she’d have to give chase and Silver would not give in. "It is your skills which surprise me. I did not know you could dance." She said whispering now giving the darkness a new edge. Silver nodded his head past her lips never acknowledging the spice of her scent the exotic thrill that gave men a fiery belly. His lips drew in close against her neck as his fangs extended. Their tips grazed against the soft flesh though never penetrating they danced delicately against the surface his breath beautifully scented and for once warm. “You did not realize that the lord of this realm could dance? Love you are sorely mislead.” Silver taunted from this new position knowing clear well that he’d be exciting her he wanted madness out of her now he wanted anger, fear, and lust. Silver planted a tender kiss at her neck before moving up to see her and with that he’d return to the dance slowly now no music in the room he danced to his old tune the sound of the old empire lands far gone taken by no army merely lost to time.

The feeling of fangs on her delicate skin made Akatriel tense for a moment, but she pushed it from her mind as the dancing continued. "I knew you could dance, but you never proved it to me," Kitty replied, meeting his eyes and being reminded of the coldness within him. That coldness, and only that, kept Akatriel from feeling anything for Silver. If it were any other man, she would have wanted to kiss him; with Silver, though, she could not really find it within herself.
She knew of his coldness, and of the hatred he held for everyone but himself. Kat had already been ripped to pieces by him and others, and she wanted love and fire and passion, not lust. She wanted to be cared for, and she was sure she wasn't going to find it in his arms. But the kiss planted on her neck and the dance were pleasant for the time being.
Silver was surely proving his ability to dance, and Kat was always ready to dance. If she had not woken up with the desire to dance, she knew she wouldn't ever be willing to dance with Silver. But today, all she wanted was to dance, thus making her fine to dance with him. Kat stayed on pointe for most of the dance, giving it a twist of ballet, and she enjoyed it.

"I knew you could dance, but you never proved it to me," Kitty replied Silver stared through cunning eyes; their blackened tint gave them an even more sinister hue to them. He had the speed and motioned to caress the strands of hair on her head smoothly.
“Proof?” Silver pronounced in a loud whisper that echoed in the hall, “You have me prove myself before you believe it.” He released her stepping back a moment before nearly hovering above the floor a booming wave of Psi released in the air shuddering the instruments stored away below stage in a rampant chorus. “I can make all the things in this world bow to my will, what would a thing of that nature have any stand against me.” His voice turned taunting and conceited as he approached her once again using the flat of his hand to tamper with her cheek once more.
“And I can have you just as easily” He pronounced openly without fear. Free will was such a bothersome thing but it never stood for too long against the likes of his race.

The display of Silver's power surprised Kat, and she expected him to hit her as the hand reached for her face. And I can have you just as easily... the words echoed through her mind a couple times, even as the echoes of his boom resounded the last few times. "Yes, you can," Kitty replied without even thinking. She only replied out of surprise, but even as she said it, the tiny dancer spun away.
It was a playful little move in a way, but also a way to escape his touch for just a moment. "Do you remember when you sold me?" Akatriel teased, doing her best to sound lofty as she spoke and, for the most part, succeeding. "You were 'tired of my twirling,' I believe is how you worded it." Kat twirled once more as she spoke. "Why again do you search for things you have thrown away?" The question was meant for so many people, but only spoken to Silver. Even then, it was only spoken because she was trying her best to keep him at bay.
He was a difficult man to be up against, especially with Kat's nerves still the way they were. The thing that shocked her was how well she was doing at staying calm. She felt as if she should be breaking down inside, but Kat was doing everything she could to keep her walls up strong-- she was being emotionally strong for the first time in a long time, and she wanted to keep it this way.

"Do you remember when you sold me?” Silver pondered on the thought, he’d owned many slaves in his lifetime, and never had he had a particular reason to let one loose other than to take them back by force, he enjoyed the chase, it was all such a game to him something he toyed with like a cat with a ball of yarn except on a much larger scale.
"You were 'tired of my twirling,' I believe is how you worded it." Kat twirled once more as she spoke.
Was she toying with him, playing the game with Silver as he played his own little game, perhaps but they never twirled to far from him, the game was his own a creation he’d found long ago and still it never bored him, though at times he found it a bit repetitive.
"Why again do you search for things you have thrown away?"
Silver laughed giving her hand a strong tug to pull her into his chest, an arm would find its way around her once again. “I am the master, therefore I am the one to ask the questions,” he smiled sinisterly, “And I am still very tired of your twirling, so I’d rather see you dance.”
Silver continued though this time things became more of a waltz as he led placing a hand on the flat of her back while the other eloped intertwining his fingers within hers.

Even as Kat was tugged back into his arms, she found herself rather offended by his words. "Still tired?" she asked, gracefully moving into the waltz without missing a beat; she enjoyed all types of dance, but she was still a little appalled that Silver hated her dancing. "Then why are you here? You know I twirl more often than dance like this."
Their fingers were intertwined, and Kitty was tempted to grow her panther claws and scratch his arm, but she resisted. She knew he could smell the hurt and offense she took from his words, but also knew he wouldn't care. But she found herself wishing he did care. She just wished someone in the world would care for her, whether the hated Silver or someone more caring. There is not a caring bone in Silver's body, and everyone knows it... Kat thought bitterly, keeping up with the dance.
The feel of Silver's cool hand on her back felt nice, especially since she had donned her jacket, but she still wished it was anyone but him. Deciding not to totally compromise, Akatriel rose onto pointe as they danced the waltz, for it felt more comfortable that way, especially since Silver was quite a bit taller than she. Coldness in Silver's eyes was combatted by a warm look in Kat's eyes as the dancing continued. It was not rooted in being with him, but in dancing.
"Ask, but I may choose not to answer," Kitty said as she stared into Silver's eyes.

He grinned with an utmost curiosity. Such a fascinating creature to begin with. He had spotted her out for those keen talents so very long ago. Still he needed that quick wit and temper, not to much unlike his sister but still there was resolve in her words. Quite like a human, so unpredictable it made his cold nerves seethe with a envious warmth. Excited the blood and pounded his fury.
"Why do you twirl away from me ma belle?" He charmingly covered his tracks reading into her thoughts searching for the answer she'd think but chances are wouldn't say, "What is it that you fear from our proximity?" He cooed closer his lips but inches from her own.

After four long years of servitude, Akatriel had learned enough tricks of her own trade to learn how to hide her feelings. She wasn't sure if such tricks worked on strong Vampires like Silver, but she knew that dancing seemed to strengthen them some, so perhaps he wouldn't be able to read her like a book. He inquired as to her twirling, and brought himself closer, attempting to intimidate her through close contact.
But Kitty did not flinch, nor did she utter even a sigh of surprise-- his moves were purely a dance, and as long as she though of them as such, she was safe from whatever tricks he pulled on her. "I twirl away for the same reason any dancer twirls away- to rejoin once again with her dance partner," Kat replied, her olive eyes gazing into Silvers without fear. His breath smelled cool, but also a bit too much like the iron of blood. The Shapeshifter knew she smelled more like heat and spices, and also that the smells together would clash as they commingled, just as the dancers were.
"What if I say I do not fear your closeness?" Kitty challenged as she continued to dance. It was easy to think on her toes, but she was having to keep up with more than just creating a witty response; she had to keep check of Silver's movements to guess what he was doing next, and had to keep her heart from beating quite so fast, and had to keep herself from the opposite feelings of tearing at his face or kissing him.
