Silver snickered within his own mind. He loved how these simple people often hid themselves behind sheaths and cloaks of not just fabrics but lies and false fronts. And all to deceive, in this world he'd come to realize that in life its sole purpose was to attain the perfect deception. To corrupt those around you and solely remain in power nothing else mattered beyond that point.
Silver kept his distance unafraid of the bitterness to her words that had a sharper effect brought on by the sweet aphrodisiac of the spice scent that danced about her. "Let me tell you..."
He leaned in close lips grazing her ear seductively almost and in a low cold whisper, "I'd say you're lying."
He let it with a grin fighting against his need to laugh a bit.

Kat shrugged her shoulders, brushing off the small defeat. "I knew you could see through me. You always have." She sighed slightly, tiring of the dance. There was not enough movement for her in the simple waltz. Not that she would tell Silver his dancing was dull, but compared to the incredible leaps Akatriel could do, this dance was practically a walk in the park.
"So tell me," Kat said, as if talking with an old friend, "Who is the newest attraction in the slave-trade? There always seems to be someone, and I was the shiny toy for a little while before someone else stole the spotlight. I'm quite out of the loop, do tell who has long since replaced me."
It was difficult to speak of the slave-trade casually, but Kitty was doing her best to keep darker thoughts at bay. She felt that as long as she kept things casual, she would be fine. If she could keep herself happy enough (even if the dance was growing dull), then she would be able to protect herself, at least in some small way.

Silver would twirl her again sensing her body on edge. Probably becoming bored. He smiled darkly, he didn't have to appease anyone but a slight tease kept the conversation going and who could say that he'd wanted to part just yet.
"Slave trade? Are you interested in checking it out... or are you jealous at the fact that you aren't everyone's favorite any longer?"
'or that you aren't mine?' His dark grin grew wide twirling her several times on repetition knowing clear well she could keep up with his work. His hand kept steady at her upper thigh tenderly caressing over her as she sought to make the dance a masterpiece which certainly it could grow to be with such grace. His other hand remained locked with her grip entwined leaving little room to escape.

"Oh yes, I'm so jealous that I'm not everyone's favorite," Akatriel replied sarcastically, spinning out and back in as she rolled her eyes. Not even the most pampered of slaves would actually want to be a slave. Silver could be so ridiculous! "I was just attempting to make conversation, really."
The dance stepped up a little when Silver's hand went to her thigh, and Kitty shuddered slightly. He had damaged her enough in the past and she didn't want that to happen again. Being a Shapeshifter, though, no matter what special abilities she had, Kitty knew she couldn't stop him. She was powerless against him, because she didn't have enough strength or power to keep him from doing anything he didn't want to do.
"Are you sure it isn't you who wants me, and not the other way around?" Kitty asked, gaining enough of herself to speak. Her olive eyes flashed, seeming to turn more red as she spoke. She was doing her best to stay on defense, keep herself as cool as possible, but it was difficult when she could smell the emotions that were rolling off of him.
