"Siete was the first of our kind, yes," Annelise said with a nod. The Vampiress was quite surprised, though, when Cassie said she wouldn't leave the place she had spent her human life in. To Annelise, it seemed like the only logical thing to do when she was being so held back from everything. The ancient beauty began to wonder if Cassie had even ever heard of New Mayhem, so close to Ramsa, but hidden from humans.
"Cassie, tell me something," Annelise commanded. Her voice always had a sense of command to it, so it only made sense that it would be that way at such a moment. "Have you ever visited New Mayhem? Or even heard of New Mayhem before?" Even as she asked it, Annelise was digging through Cassie's mind for the information, but she wasn't really looking hard-- she was more or less just in Cassie's mind to see if she would notice.

Siete was the first of their kind, that made more sense to Cassie. Maybe she had done pretty well for herself alone. She was pretty independent when she was a human maybe it just rubbed of as a trait or something. Cassie had wondered if Annelise was intruding in her mind again, she was starting not to be very keen on it but of course if she was intruding she would have known that.
Cassie was looking away from their conversation when Annelise had pretty much commanded her to tell her something, she turned back to the conversation when Annelise had asked her. "New Mayhem? No i haven't heard of it...is it some sort of town or something?" Cassie was beginning to wonder what New Mayhem could have been but didn't really think much of it. She hadn't heard of anything like that.

To say the least, Cassie was a very odd vampire. She didn't want to leave her home in order to gain power, she didn't know what New Mayhem was, and she was still attached to humans. What more did this childish vampire have going against her? "Yes, New Mayhem is a town. Go into the woods outside Ramsa and find your way, child." The final words were words of dismissal, for Annelise was finished coddling the young vampire for the time being. Pushing off from the headstone, Annelise paused to study Cassie Leighs one more time.
The girl looked young, even if it was not quite as youthful as a human would think at first glance. Her face was round and lovely, but so naive as well. She sighed and wondered how much talent was being wasted, or how much space was being wasted on someone who didn't use her power to its full advantage.
All around, the night was crisp and detailed in the eyes of the ancient vampiress. It was as clear as crystal, and everything made her feel icy inside, a satisfying feeling for the time being. The slight chill of the night air was noticed by Annelise, but it didn't bother her. And with the sharpness of the night surroundings, Annelise desired to be as far away from Ramsa as she could, even if just for a few hours. She would travel to her home hidden from the entire world. There, she could sit atop her large, beautiful home and breathe in the air until she felt perfectly satisfied.
"We will meet again, young Cassie Leighs, I promise you that," Annelise said before she disappeared, the last traces of her aura lingering in the air.
